About the show

Born in Rio de Janeiro, singer-songwriter Leo Middea brings a contemporary mix of MPB, samba and bossa nova to Amsterdam. With six albums to his name — including the recent Notícias de Puglia — Middea has built a remarkable international career.

Since his debut in 2014, he has performed over five hundred concerts across Europe and Latin America, reaching milestones such as the finals of Portugal's Festival da Canção and a performance at Montreux Jazz Festival. His music breathes freedom — a quality reflected in lyrics written during train journeys between countries. In Paradiso's Main Hall, expect an intimate yet energetic atmosphere as Middea bridges his Brazilian roots with the rest of the world.
